On a journey to find the Fire that I had been longing to dance with I began to study the Bible.
There's a great story about a prophet of old ,named Elijah and the people of Israel under the rule of King Ahab. Elijah worshiped the one true living God ,the God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob.
Also known as the consuming fire.
King Ahab and his wife Jezebel worshiped the god, baal who was also known as a god of fire.
In this battle between these two, the God of Elijah proved that he is the one
true living God by sending fire from Heaven to consume the alter
that had been built and soaked with water.
Ahab's god on the other hand sent nothing proving to the people
of Israel that the god, baal was a counterfeit fire and that the
God of Elijah was the true Authentic fire.
As I have experienced this same consuming purifying fire that burns within me I have begun
to dance with passion and an understanding that I am not in control.
As I allow the Fire to lead, my movements change from chaos to peace.
The relationship I have with the "Fire" removes impurities within me and refines me
into an authentic image or reflection of the"Fire" with whom I dance.
My question to those around is do you dance with the true authentic Fire or the false
counterfeit fire, that makes us pretend we're something we're not?
If you dance, dance with "Fire"

The theme that I seem to be using as of late applies here as well. The worst lie is one that is closest to the truth.
I often wonder about this when I see two people praying for opposite things. When the situation turns into what I was against, is it their prayer being answered? Was I following the wrong God or could it be that the false truth can manipulate the situation temporarily for it's gain?
Or maybe parts of the situation just wasn't as clear to me as I thought.
You can never know the hearts of others to know what they actually prayed nor can you see Gods overall plan.
I have found we have to be very careful, keeping our emotions in check before we plan action according to our own opinions of Gods truth. We must cling to God with patience, prayer, and reading his word, remembering we are all just an individual piece of the whole.. God will always make his truth clear at the right time.
